During my time working with Women in Film & Video New England (WIFVNE) at Studio 5, the organization wanted to focus on attracting new members via social media and their Annual Meeting of Members. One of my jobs was to design an Instagram template for WIFVNE to share the unique stories behind their members. My team and I recognized that the best way for Women in Film to market their organization is through showing their members and their work that make them so diverse and special.

To allow future employees to use the template in the future, I designed everything in Canva and used the style guide provided to me. I aimed to keep the design fun to grab people’s attention and also easy to read on Instagram. I included an alternate color of some of the template pages to give the organization room to add more slides as needed without being repetitive or to mix posts up a tad for variety.

What is Studio 5?

Studio Five is a faculty-facilitated, professional communications studio where students work in teams to complete a variety of projects for organizations in the Boston area and beyond. Students address their client’s communication needs, define a customized communications strategy, submit a proposal, and work together to develop professional, quality deliverables that meet their client’s needs.
