CommTracks is Simmons University’s senior magazine. I joined during my second semester to assist the lead designer with spreads and to write an article of my own for the magazine on AI art.
We met multiple times a week to finalize design choices, proofread layouts, discuss printing options, and confer with the writing team on the contents of the magazine. We also worked with a student freelance photographer for many of the photos featured in the final magazine.
As the semester went on, I also helped the lead designer by doing the layout for my article’s spread. Using her previously made magazine layouts for reference, I put together a double paged article spread featuring sidebars with images.
